Question
My nine year old daughter worries about everything. She stresses about germs and washes her hands or uses sanitizer every few minutes. She has been in charge of cleaning the bathroom, but stresses about the chemicals, worrying that anything she touches during or after cleaning is going to make somebody sick. She confesses everything to me - every unkind thought, every little thing that she does (good or bad), and then won't accept it when I tell her that these are not horrible and she doesn't need to worry about them. I tell her not to tell me something unless it is important, but she says she feels guilty unless she tells me everything. What can I do to calm her nerves and save mine?
