Question
My first born son is an extremely literal child. There appears to be no gray in his black and white thinking. Don't get me wrong-I am thankful my son has the understanding of right and wrong. We have noticed that when he makes a poor choice- he will withdraw and an ugly attitude emerges that permeates the house. There are times,he will burden himself with wrongdoing when clearly a situation is not his fault. He is showing less tolerance at school regarding other children who are making poor choices around him. A boy angrily threw a ball at him. My child was sent to ISS for calling the boy a jerk. He was unable to calm himself down due to beating himself up internally for the poor choice.
