What is an appropriate consequence for a(n ADHD) child not getting homework done? Our 11year old child is getting sent to bed early as a consequence for not doing as told or smart-mouthing. (Sometimes I think he doesn't mind going to bed early if he can then avoid having to do his small amount of homework.) If homework is not done by morning, he is driven to school at his cost of $2 to take advantage of the "Learning Center" to get work done before school. (Learning Center is a study-hall format with a teacher on duty who can answer questions when asked by the student.)What happens when homework or adequate test-studying still isn't done by class-time?
