Will my long distance marriage significantly adversely affect my son? How can I help my son? My husband lives and works overseas and is only able to be home for 3 weeks a year. Our son is 6 months old and my husband has been gone since he was 3 months old. My husband's work commitment is for another 4 years. My parents babysit my son while I work full time.
