Question
My 3 1/2 yr old son who has never had trouble sleeping at night or naps, is in a new home that we just moved in and is now screaming and crying right after we put him to bed (like he's scared). One of us each night now has to lay down with him until he falls asleep (when we want to be together instead after a long day with kids!) We say prayers, talk with him, etc. but each time we walk out of the room (if we haven't stayed until he falls completely asleep), he jumps right up screaming again for us to come back with him. Doing it for naps now too. We are all exhausted and want to figure out how to end this pattern quickly while helping him not to be scared or have a "family bed" scenario.
