Question
My daughter will be 3 in 2 mos. Her father was primary caretaker from 8 mo. to 20 mo. and then he left and she hasn't seen him since. I expected her to be clingy in the beginning however it is still continuing. I am a single mother with older children and a baby that I recently gave up for adoption. The couple adopting the baby is my daughter's babysitter. She's been going to this babysitter for over a year, same church, etc. She always cries, screams, etc. when I drop her off anywhere-babysitter, church, friend, sibling and she's always clinging to me. I don't play with her constantly in our free time however I do spend time with her. Any suggestions? It's embarrassing and driving me crazy.
