Question
Our 2.5 year old daughter is reasonably well behaved with my husband and I. During the week (8-5pm) when we both work she is at a home daycare 2 days and with a sitter in our home the other 3 days. Our sitter has been having trouble with our daughter being difficult when in her care - yelling, hitting her infant brother, not listening and just being disrespectful in general. Is it unreasonable to try to discipline her in the evening when we get home which is several hours after the bad behavior took place? We're just not sure how much we can expect from a child this age. We have read your book on the terrible two's. Any suggestions on how to handle to nip this in the bud?
