What can you tell me about sensory integration disorder and executive function disorder? Are these sort of catch all terms like ADHD? Our pediatrician has suggested having our 11-year old daughter tested for these things, but since I have been following the suggestions in your books I am not really sure these are valid for her. Whenever we have our daughter tested for anything, she immediately assumes she has that condition, and it becomes almost a crutch for her. For example, earlier this year, she was diagnosed with anxiety and depression, and I really feel she almost tried to live up to the diagnosis because her behavior and symptoms worsened after the diagnosis. Is this possible?
