Question
I was just wondering about the advice to put kids to bed with no underwear or pants on when training them to stay dry at night. I know the idea is to make them as uncomfortable as possible, but I wonder why being naked is more uncomfortable than having underwear on? Seems to me that if they have no underwear on, they can just roll over to a dry section of the bed and go right back to sleep, whereas having cold wet clothes on would make them "feel it" longer? I'm currently working with my 4 year old girl on this, and she sleeps right through wetting the bed most every night.
