Question
My almost 4 yo is capable of doing everything by himself: he feeds, brushes teeth (after he has done it at night I re-do it), bathe, play, get dress, put his shoes and socks etc. But sometimes I think I find myself giving him instruction thought the day like: "Don't leave your toys in the living room." "Be careful not to spill your juice." "If you want to go outside you need your shoes." And sometimes I get aggravated about toys around the house (only 10 toys). He doesn't like to nap or sleep on a messy room, so in the house we have the rule: before nap and before bed time you must tidy. Can you give me a description on what is being a helicopter parent for this age chid? Thanks for all your help!
