The author of the book "Shepherding a child's heart" is Tedd Tripp. It is a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful book! It has been a while since I read it but the only thing I recall not being in agreement with was that he seemed to advocate spanking at an age a little older than what I thought to be beneficial.
Q. Background: I am working on a dissertation here at Regent University in Virginia Beach to develop a training program covering grades 9-12 to help boys prepare for biblical fatherhood.
Q. 1: Do you know of any data showing the effectivenss of any training program in this field?
Q. 2: What topics or practices would you recommend - and at what grade/age level - as part of an intentional, long-term program to help prepare boys for biblical fatherhood?
