What can be done with my 15 year old daughter who has skipped class 65 time in one semester? The fact that the school allowed this number of absences without notifying the parents is a separate matter! She is grounded, no phone, no nuthin', but what else can we do? Her mother and I have been divorced almost 9 years and have not been in communication until now. We are both motivated to do whatever we can, but what exactly is that? She is very bright and should be doing well. We will meet with her teachers, and she is on a weekly report. Thumbscrews? Iron Maiden? Help us!
