I have a 2.5 year old son who constantly (and I mean constantly) uses the word "no". Yes, I realize that it is normal for this age child to use the word and that I should just ignore it when he does as long as he is still obeying (which he generally does and I generally do). It is getting out of control though. For example, Me: "T, did you see that big truck?"
T: "NO! Its a big truck". No no no no ad nauseum. It is getting to the point that it is disrespectful and I'm getting sick of it. I have not punished him for using "no" up to this point but really want some advice on limiting it or making it stop. Thanks!
