Question
Thinking about the future, I am on the fence between homeschooling and Catholic school for our girls 3.5 & 9 mos, my main concern with homeschooling is if it will be confusing for the kids to see me in the role of teacher vs mother vs wife/adult and how it will be possible to not become overly involved in doing their work. My 3.5 yr old is very obedient and we have consistently worked to foster the environment where she plays well on her own and respects when we are having mommy/daddy talking time, but she also would love nothing more to spend all day with someone to read and teach her how to do things, etc. I don't think you have a homeschool program endorsement, but I would love your advice on how I can approach that role balance, and convey it to our kids.
