2 yo toilet regression

My son will be 2 at the end of the month. He has been successfully potty trained since November. Recently, however, he has dramatically regressed. I remind him all the time that if he needs to go potty to let me know and it seems to do no good. When he is in church nursery or with other family members, there are no accidents, just with his father and me. Today was the last straw which has prompted my email. It is just 1:30pm and we are on our sixth - SIXTH- pair of pants. Is it time to go back to the potty bell and do a little "re-education". Could he be sensing our stress and tension due to having to clean him up so often? Or are we just starting to see a little of the "terrible two's" rearing it's ugly head? Maybe it's a combination of all of the above! HELP! We were doing so well and now I feel like we're back to square one again!
