Basic question: When, if any, time is it appropriate to try to stop a romantic relationship with our 16 year old daughter and her boyfriend? Brief Explanation: My daughter is developing a romantic relationship with a young man that in many ways is a fine young man. However, he has confided in her that he has and is struggling with pornography. Since finding this out, she seems to be obsessed with losing weight to the extent that the pediatrician expressed her concerns with her eating habits. We have talked to our daughter about our concerns, but she becomes defensive and makes excuses for him - all boys have this problem, I don't have an eating disorder, etc. There are also some concerns with his mother because she has a history of not getting along with family members at times. We are wondering if we should warn her and pray or become more involved and try to end the relationship.
