Question
Well, you've done a marvelous job helping my 8 year old and my 5 year old, want to tackle the 18 month old? We have just transitioned him to a toddler bed since he is Mr. Climber Extraordinaire and was flipping himself out of the crib. I love the dutch door idea, but we live in a rental and can't take advantage of that idea. We also can't install a baby gate using hardware that screws into the wood. Unfortunately, the pressure gate we have been using is going to have to go as I caught young Spiderman halfway over it the other day. So this begs the question... how to keep him contained? He doesn't stay in his bed. Just shut the whole door? I don't like not being able to check on him without opening up the whole thing... the door sticks and makes a huge racket trying to open it if you are trying to be stealthy.
