Question
My daughter, age 17 and going on 27, will be graduating high school next June. She is surly and refuses to speak to either my wife or me. She refuses to get a job or look at colleges. We are seeing up goals and expectations without success.
We think she is in a funk since her best friend found a boyfriend. And, since my wife and I have renewed our relationship she may not know how to deal with that either.
Finally, she is doing well in school.
What steps can we take to help her engage? We are at the point of taking away all of her privileges and having her earn them back.
