Question
My 3y 9mo daughter gets three strikes and then 30 mins in the bathroom for disobeying. She often smarties off when I call a strike or tell her to do something. She has also been acting obnoxious at times, clearly seeking attention, which has escalated (understandably) since the arrival of her 2 week old sister. For the most part, I ignore the "static" and focus on her doing as she's told, but if she's annoying me I send her to her room to calm down (not to punish). My husband worries that we're allowing disrespect by ignoring her. I think we can tackle it after she's obeying. What say you?
