Question
I have a 3 and 5 year old. Recently they’ve taken up stalling and doing a half job when I give instructions. When getting ready for school, putting toys away, to doing evening house chores. I have showed them what I expect, made them do it themselves, and they regularly come tell me it’s done when there are items clearly on the floor. I make them go do it right. This cycle can repeat 5 times. In morning if they are not downstairs by 7 on school day they go to bed early. (They wake at 6:30.)
For stalling they lose ticket & sit in The Chair of Motivation. We do not always have time for that though. What do you recommend?
