Question
We have tried to make sure that our children know that my husband and I are the bosses in this home. We work on them waiting their turn to talk, saying yes sir and yes ma’am, please and thank you, excuse me, etc. Our daughter (3 yr) knows the adults are the boss but still sometimes struggles with demanding things or fussing at me - things that are her trying to be the boss and take control. If I ask her “who is boss” she will say that Mommy and Daddy are but she sometimes acts like she is the boss. We have tried to conquer the terrible twos and have made progress but obviously still have a ways to go. It concerns me that she is 3 and still struggling with trying to be the center of the universe. She has a brother (2yr) and Baby #3 is on the way. She loves to try to boss her brother around as well and let me know whenever he breaks a rule (one she would break too).
