Question
I received the following from our the principal today regarding his behavior at school and need help.
I'm sorry to send this on a Monday but I was quite taken by Lee's behavior this morning. We received a text that Lee had been screaming almost the entire morning, could we please help, because she was unable to teach anything at all. By the time we finished up an observation in a different room, a teacher from down the hall had heard the screaming and had gone in to help. I know you guys recently met and we are working towards getting this amazing boy assistance to help him better regulate the big emotions. Until today it seems that his outbursts were primarily from writing. Today it happened when he was approaching a center playing with shape block tangrams. Also, during a reading activity on the rug. I did tell Lee that if he has an outburst like this moving forward I would have to call one of you to come and get him because it is interfering with the learning of others.
