Question
We started training my now 21 month old son at 19 months. We had him trained during naps and he's been dry overnight several times as well. However, for about the past two weeks he's been waking up from his one one nap (1.5-2 hours) completely soaked. He wears underwear for naps so there's pee everywhere. We have him go potty several times throughout the morning and right before his nap (he always produces something before his nap). He's also been waking up between 4:45-5:30 every morning with a full diaper (we still have him wear diapers to bed, he doesn't wear them any other time). So full that his pajamas are wet, so he gets a full outfit change in the wee hours of the morning. We of course take him potty right before bed. My husband and/or myself always tell him before naps and bed that if he needs to go potty to call out for us. He will sometimes call out and we'll take him to the potty, but I think he's peeing after he falls asleep. Any tips or recommendations?
