Question
My 8 year old daughter wanted to sign up for her fourth year of soccer so we did so. After a handful of practices and a game she wants to quit. She says she hates everything about it and hates running. Despite all this, she is actually quite good and seems to have fun when there. We are working to transitioning away from a child centered home and having more boundaries. What are some phrases I can use to let her know she will finish the season? And if she physically refuses to go, does this warrant discipline? Thank you.
