Question
We recently went on a trip that was 13 days long. There was lots of drive time as we went to see different friends, family, and attended a wedding. Before the trip I could see that our two kids (3 and almost 2) were making some progress in different areas. The first part of the trip their behavior was pretty good because they were around people they weren’t very familiar with. But the last part of the trip they were horrible. Part of that could have been exhaustion and being sick. We tried to be consistent with discipline on the trip but still didn’t do as well as at home. We got home five days ago and are still struggling to get them back on track. Their table manners are horrible. They have been very disrespectful, disobedient, more picky about food, and throwing more fits. They are way worse than before the trip started. My 3 yr is struggling the most. How do I get them back on track? I feel like I’m almost constantly disciplining.
