Question
I want to start using the ticket system with my 3 year old, and I know which behavior I want to target first, not doing as I ask. Like when I tell him to stop doing something, or go to the bathroom, come eat, get dressed, put your toys away. I’ve been trying to improve on alpha speech but he still doesn’t do what I ask. I usually end up picking him up, helping him, asking him multiple times to do things. I hate it. But in the book, The Well-Behaved Child, it suggests starting with the easiest behavior first. I’m not sure what that would be. Maybe once or twice a day he’ll throw something out of anger. Will losing 2 tickets a day change anything?
