Question
I put my just about 3 year old in his room for the first time today for hitting his 5 month old brother. He keeps opening the door and/or coming out of the room. Each time he does, I bring him back to his room and say "you are in your room for the rest of the day because we don't hit people."
Is this the right thing to do and say or is there something else I can and should do?
