Question
Help! Our daughter is 5 and has become defiant and disobedient. For example she will come to us and say "I know I'm not supposed to (enter action) but I did." She said she's being truthful by telling us but she's continuing to do disobedient actions. Most things are small offences like taking something from her 2 year old brother or not completing a chore when asked. We have tried the ticket system and she will say "I was disobedient, you have to take a ticket" we aren't sure what discipline is appropriate especially because we don't have much to 'take away' (we don't watch any TV or have screen time) and she will still play joyfully in her room if she's alone and has no toys. We are not sure what appropriate will help?!
