Question
My son is 12 years old and has been confined to his bedroom for the past month and a half for getting F’s in school. My husband thought he was acting suspicious so he peeked in his window and found him on a cell phone. We do not allow unsupervised electronics at our house and have never bought him a phone. Turns out he stole my moms old phone and has had it for the past two months. I’m not sure how to handle this situation since he’s already in complete isolation.
Also when I told my mom that he had taken her old phone she laughed and made it like it was no big deal since she hates our parenting style. I’m not letting him back over there without me or my husband being present for a very a long time.
