Question
"John" is almost 6 and is hearing voices in his head. The voices keep him awake at night and tell him "bad things". He does not try to get up and there are no behavior issues. He simply can't sleep because of the voices and can't wake up in the morning and falls asleep at school. Mom thinks it is spiritual warfare. She has prayed with him and asked him about the voices. I told parents not to make a big deal out of this and it will probably pass. Parents want me to talk to him and I am fine to do so but also think the less we talk about it the sooner it will go away. Am I right? I also encouraged parents to let him read a storybook before bed so it will be fresh in his head at bedtime. Thanks for your input. Gail - Children's Minister
