Question
Dear John,we have child proofed the house for our 22 month toddler as best as possible so he can run around freely. We've also set a few limits for him,and he is very aware of them.We do our best to be consisent in teaching him that he must obey those boundaries or there will be a consequence, which is time out. Time out is empty playpen in another room. Some days he does better than others. Some days it seems like I spend all day taking him back and forth to time out, and it could be over him doing the same exact thing over and over again, the instant he gets out of time out! Up the ante? How so? or stay course?
