Question
My 9 year old homschool son cries and freaks out when we mention he does school at my mother's house an hour away. The children usually stay a week or a few days. Is it child abuse if he doesn't want to go and we make him go to do school there for a few days? We have four others doing homeschool as well, so a child or two gone for a short time I thought is good, right? My mom and her husband are predictable and have consequences, whereas our house can get a little chaotic and sometimes consequences get pushed to the waste side. They both love God and are within walking distance from the church. And when they tell my kiddos to do something, THEY DO IT!!!! When I tell them something, I'll be lucky it gets done half way. Help!!!
