Question
My son is 11 and this is his first year in middle school. He has to use an ipad for school and this thing has been nothing but a nightmare. He is currently grounded right now (confined to his room with nothing in it) because of complaints from his teachers that he's playing games on it and failing a class. He comes home from school and says he has homework to do and every time I walk by him, he exits out of the game. The ipad used to stay in the kitchen at night until I caught him waking up early to play games on it and then leaving late for the bus, now it's in my room until he leaves for school. So now he leaves early, he stands right outside the door to connect to the Wi-Fi and then walks to the bus stop. He's supposed to be grounded from video games but doesn't care to do better because he keeps getting his fix in.
