Question
What is the best way to handle a 9 year old child who leaves the house to run away when she does not get her way? She has done this 3 times. This child has no respect for authority and pretty much does what she wants. She is very independent but has a short temper. I would also say that she is bordering ADHD as she is extreemly active with attention span only to what interests her. She has no fear of strangers and feels she can handle anything that comes her way. She will follow most rules outside of her own home and I would classify her as very spoiled but since I do babysit her I really need to know what to do if she tries this while in my care.
