Question
Hello. My 6 year old daughter has a very hard time playing nicely with cousins and peers. She wants to have the upper hand at all times. She gets very jealous if somebody has something she wants. She also tells me that at school sometimes the other girls don't want her to play with them. I suspect it is because she acts like this with them. I've tried constant watching and intervening when she is with cousins and playing with her brother. We read the Bible a lot and talk about loving others and the golden rule. I can tell she loves her brother and cousins and friends very much, but it's like she can't control herself in the moment at all. What can I do to help her? I'm not sure how to help her change the way she treats other people. Do you have any advice?
