Question
My 9 year old son cries at what seems like the drop of a hat and sometimes it's out of the blue and seems that it should be a behavior that he should have outgrown by his age. Many times it's due to something other than being physically hurt, legitimately scared, or someone really hurting his feelings. Crying seems to be his first line of defense when he doesn't like something. I do not know how to stop the crying over ridiculous things as at his age, it's no longer appropriate (not sure it ever was in the instances but here we are). Help!
