Question
I have been told that I need a "story" to tell my 4 YO son about his absent father. I thank God he has not resurfaced because he was abusive to me and has a criminal background. We are doing fine, but my son recently told me as he looked out the window, "there is not a daddy out there for me" I do not expect to ever see the father again, and if he does show up I will be quite frightened for both myself and my son. Any suggestions?
