My husband and I are so encouraged by the information we are reading in your book "The Well Disciplined Child". Could you elaborate on the Agony Principle in regards to confining our 7 year old son to his room for disobedience and back talk, not following instructions? As he continues the behavior, is it right to continue to add time to his confinement and should any attempt to leave his room without permission be considered a reason for adding time to his confinement?
