Question
I have a 6 yr old foster child who comes out of his bedroom 20-30 or more a night. He refuses to stay in his room. We have tried all kinds of consequences and nothing seems to work. He even laughs when we put him back in the room. It's almost as if nothing we do matters to him. I can't find a consequence that works with him. He is also defiant in all areas, but the going to the bedroom and staying in it is exhausting us.
