Question
My daughter (age 16) is extremely shy and always has been. Recently due to my divorce situation, we had to relocate and so making friends has been a struggle. However, I have observed her around her peers and she comes across as unapproachable and almost rude due to what I believe is her shyness and therefore lack of eye contact and lack of conversing even if someone else insisted the conversation. I gently told her my observation in an attempt to make her aware of what kind of inaccurate vibe she may be putting off. Is that where I should leave it - because I have since observed her and she has not changed her “uninterested vibe?”
