Parenting a Disrespectful Teen with Divorced Parents

Question

Almost two years ago my husband left (affair) and we are in a very difficult divorce. We are not friendly and don’t communicate other than texting. We have four children together and have 50/50 custody. Our oldest son is 13 and struggles the most. Since 5th grade (now 8th), I’ve struggled with him. He went from a kind, sensitive, friendly, happy go lucky kid to an angry, disrespectful, entitled, violent young man. He’s had suicidal episodes and violent outbursts towards me (throwing things at me, cussing) and his siblings (hitting, cussing, pushing). Last weekend, was the last straw when he broke several things (TV, hole in the wall, recliner, bed railing, threw a full cup of Tea on the floor), cussed me, locked himself in a shed and I was afraid he was going to hurt himself. After several hours of chaos and lots of tears on my part (he was emotionless and remorseless) his dad came to get him. I’ve not talked to him or seen him in a week. My son brought a new TV last, but said nothing when he dropped it off. I’m not sure where to go from here. He’s supposed to be here 50% of the time. I need advice on how to move forward with him.
