Question
My daughter will be 4 Oct 24. She is a sweet girl but she keeps tearing up stuff. I'm not sure if she means to or not but it is getting old. She is rough with books and sometimes tears the pages, she writes on things that she shouldn't like walls and tables. Yesterday she tore a small portion of a foam mattress pad (my sister in law's). I talk to her everytime and she cries like her heart is breaking and that makes me think she does not mean to do this sometimes. But writing on the walls has to be on purpose. I make her clean it off herself, but she still continues to do it. Should I punish for this? If so how?
