Question
Hi,
My 4 yr old grandsons mother walked out on the family 1 1/2 years ago. As he is aging he is asking more questions , and we are telling him it is not his fault, and that he has us, his dad and grandparents, to always love him and protect him. What age do you think good child counseling could possibly help him? Also, is there any other type of explanations or answers you think I could provide. I think he is afraid that I will leave also. His mother was very good to him when she was there, and he has good memories, but she has moved on with another life. Thank you so much.
