Wean him off the addiction of attention

Question

My three year old hates being by himself. He seems to be a very social kid and would much rather talk to or play with someone than alone. That being said, his younger brother is too young to play with, and I am quite busy most days and do not have time to play. I've been trying to implement quiet play time in his room while his younger brother takes his nap so I can have an hour to myself, but he refuses to stay in his room unless I shut the door, and when I do shut the door he gets upset at being alone. He cannot last more than 15 minutes by himself, but I need time alone. How can I make this happen? Thank you
