Question
My three year old has been up 6+ times in the night. It always starts out with him yelling "mama!" I've tried ignoring him but he wont stop until I come in and we live in close quarters and I cant have him waking up the baby. When I come in he is either sitting up in bed or has gotten up, turned the lights on, and is playing. The first time I gently scold him and tuck him in with a reminder to not get out of bed until you see sunlight. Then it gets progressively worse until I either come in and yell at him to get back in bed, or spank him and tell him he will get another spanking if he gets out of bed. I need to know how best to handle this. Please help me...I cannot function like this.
