The Frustration of Regression

Question

Our daughter will be three next month. She has been doing great with potty training until recently. Our one year old just learned to walk so we’ve been praising him a lot more and he’s been receiving extra attention, so I think she is using accidents to draw attention back to herself. Or if I’m playing with her she won’t go to the potty and will have an accident because she doesn’t want to miss out on the playtime. The thing is I don’t think she feels badly about it all and I’m not really sure what to do to get her back on track. She loves attention (I think I gave her too much during age 2) and unfortunately I think now she craves it all the time now no matter in what way. How do I end the accidents? How do I help her play independently? Please help!
