Question
My son has taken an interest in gun play. He likes making guns with blocks of lego and sticks and playing with his nerf gun.
I want him to enjoy this play but in a way that is fun and healthy, especially in public.
I’ve told him not to shoot or direct the “gun” at others unless he is playing a game with other children who know they are playing guns. Not sure what else to do? How do I also talk to him about some people’s sensitivity to guns because of the wars etc in the world in an age appropriate way? He is 7.
