Question
Lately my just turned 3 year old hits a lot, but he does it playfully and often even says it, "I'm going to hit you." I am not sure how to get him to stop. We have been firm in telling him he cannot do that, and he has been spanked when he continuously does it and won't stop (doing it over and over), even though playfully for him (not for us). What can we do to get him to stop?
