Question
My 15yr old daughter always stomps her foot when someone in her family cough or burp. It has become worse where if I make a tiny sound clearing my throat she bangs or hits whatever she is doing. I have tried talking to her about it but she says she can’t help it - the noise annoys her. I find it very disrespectful and I get very angry at her. I also am getting scared to cough and try and do it softly to keep the peace but she will still stomp if she hears the slightest sound. She is also doing it to her younger brother who gets quite upset at times. She mainly does it to her mother. I try to ignore it and hope she grows out of it but it has been going on a long time now. What should I do?
