Alpha Speech is Key to Parental Leadership

Question

Hello. Our daughter just turned 5. She has started to argue, history, say she didn’t hear, that she forgot and any number of excuses when she has disobeyed us. If we ask her to go put her toy flute, for example, she will walk away and blow on it just a bit to show she’s going to have her way just a bit. Since she’s not being outright defiant (saying “no!” and refusing to comply) we are scratching our heads with how to bring her to the knowledge that what we say goes and completely, with no talkback or sneaky little ways of pushing boundaries. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much!
